Dr. Beth Nielsen,
Diplomate, American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. After completing dental school, Dr. Beth completed two advanced dental residencies, one at University Hospital, and the second at The Children's Hospital in Denver. She is an active member of the Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Colorado Dental Society, Metro Denver Dental Society, Southwest Society of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Parker Chamber of Commerce. She has been practicing Pediatric Dentistry for over 15 years. Dr. Beth lives in Parker and enjoys life with her husband, Kurt, their two children, Jack and Claire, and the family bulldogs, Hank and Bear. Combining the knowledge gained from her dental training and the patience and practicalities earned from being a mom, Dr. Beth has mastered the art of providing superior dental care with a compassionate chair side manner.
Dr. Ashley Barefoot,
Dr. Ashley is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Colorado Dental Association, and the Colorado Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She donates much of her time to improving her community and has served in homeless shelters, Special Olympics, breast cancer marathons, and multiple dental events aimed at treating those in need. She served on a medical and dental mission trip to Nicaragua and Costa Rica and looks forward to similar opportunities in the future. Dr. Ashley lives in Castle Rock with her wonderful husband Dr. Brooks Barefoot (an orthodontist in the area) and their beautiful daughter, Emerson. Outside of the office, you will find Dr. Ashley hiking, biking, skiing, traveling, or trying to train her ornery goldendoodle, Corduroy.

Kodi is an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant, and began her dental career in 2000 working with Dr. Beth at The Children's Hospital. She has such dedication and devotion to the kids, parents, and our other team members. Her qualities in the dental field are highly recognized. Kodi has a fun and energetic attitude that attracts kids of all ages and temperaments. She is truly gifted in working with kids who may have special medical needs in the dental office. Kodi is married to her high school sweetheart, Ray, and has two young children. She enjoys cooking, being team mom, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
Jenn is an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant, and has worked for Dr. Beth since 2009. She started her dental career in 1999, with previous experience in medical assisting and teaching preschool. Jenn truly enjoys the dental field, and has such compassion for kids, parents, and staff. She has a helpful attitude and is always willing to lend a hand. Jenn treats every child at the office as if he or she were her own. She loves camping, cooking, traveling, and most of all spending quality time with her husband, daughter, and their St. Bernards Zoka and Kona.
Stacey is our front

Renee is an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant and began her dental career in 1991. Renee is a skilled, positive, and compassionate member of our Sweetpea team. Her outgoing and lighthearted personality helps children get through their dental appointment with a smile. Renee enjoys spending time with her husband and keeping up with her seven boys!
Jackie loves working with children and she is as sweet as sweet can be. she is great with the kids who may need a little extra TLC and/or show and tell. Jackie is our "tooth fairy" and visits many day care and preschools in the area to teach the kids about dental care and oral hygiene. Jackie enjoys jogging, playing soccer and spending time with her husband and young daughter.
Christa is an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. She started her career in 2000 and has worked in pediatric dentistry ever since. Christa loves working with kids, giving them a fun and positive experience at the dentist. She has been married to her high school sweetheart for 12 years and has tow sweet and wonderful but crazy boys.
Libby joined our front office in December of 2013. She has an MBA from the University of Colorado and attended CSU with Dr. Beth for her undergraduate degree. She is so thankful to be working with her long-time friend Dr. Beth and the wonderful staff at Sweetpea. Libby was formerly an HR manager until she decided to become a stay-at-home mother. She also taught pre-school at the Parker Evangelical Presbyterian church (PEPC) for five years and loves that she gets to see many of her former preschoolers here at Sweetpea. Libby lives in Parker with her husband and 2 children.
Kaylee joined our office in the summer of 2015 as a Sterilization Tech. She is Jenn’s daughter and her detail-orientation and sweet nature make her the perfect addition to our Sweetpea family. Kaylee is currently a high school senior and works part-time during the school year and full-time during the summer. Kaylee is fascinated with tornados and hopes to be a meteorologist one day. In her free time, she chases storms, plays volleyball, and plays with her two dogs.
Megan is often the first face you will see when you walk into our office. She joined the Sweetpea team in March of 2016 and her warm, caring personality shines through when she greets and checks-in our patients. Megan grew up here in Parker where she attended Ponderosa High School and later earned her degree in Psychology from Metro State University. When she is not in the office, Megan enjoys all things outdoors with her park ranger husband, Travis, and her adorable dog Harper.
Kara is an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant and joined our team in May of 2016. She began her career with on-the-job training in Colorado Springs and has been a pediatric dental assistant for three years. Kara is currently attending UC Denver and her ambition is to eventually become a pediatric dentist. She lives in Denver and enjoys staying active with her dog Beretta, cat Tigger and boyfriend, Jerod. You will often find Kara singing to our patients with her beautiful voice and she often dreams of becoming a country singer.
Estela is an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. She began her career with dental assistant training at Children’s Hospital and has worked in pediatric dentistry for over 17 years. Estela has a compassionate heart and loves volunteering her time to the children’s ministry at her church. She lives in Aurora with her husband of seven years, 5 wonderful children, and puppy, Roxy. Along with her family, Estela’s greatest loves are God, serving others, food and coffee. Her hobbies include exercising, reading motivational books, traveling and spending time outdoors.
Dee is an Expanded Functions Assistant and joined our team in October 2016. Dee grew up in Toronto, Canada and moved to Colorado 4 years ago and has been working in pediatric dentistry for the past 3 years. She began her career in 2002 with on-the-job training and completed her dental assisting and dental hygiene school in 2009. Dee has a passion for working with children and it is obvious how much she enjoys her job. She lives nearby with her husband of 7 years and 4 wonderful boys. In her free time, Dee enjoys the outdoors, hiking, and climbing 14ers.
